The Apple of His Eye

Posted on

I’m working on a project that is requiring me to go back through my old blog posts. I am amazed at how great my faith was, even just two years after my injury occurred. This post really helped me today. It is short and sweet but it drives home a good point, and one that I have forgotten over the years.

About Terri Nida

In August 2013, I fainted in my kitchen and woke up paralyzed from the shoulders down. I am still trying to make sense of all this, but one thing I know is that God is with me and he loves me.

  3. Terri, I feel joy whenever I see a post from you in my inbox. You are great at sharing hope, inspiration, and encouragement by being authentic about your struggles with faith.

I love the fact, that God can use our own words to “remind” us of what we need to hear again. God bless you with your project.

  4. Good morning my Friend, I see you as My friend because you always remind me of my late immediate elder brother  who went through the same trials. Am equally facing a very traumatic divorce procedure as I speak but going through your encouraging writeup this morning has uplifted my hope and trust in God.May God almighty continue to strengthen you in Jesus name. My Regards. Judith.

  5. That was so beautifully written – you spoke the truth, not sugar coating anything, yet spoke with such faith in God.

I’ve known of you initially because of your disability and now because of your heart to help others.

  8. Such a great piece, quoting God and taking at all to heart. I too often read scripture and find it dry because I don’t really look at it. God’s words here are seen planted in your heart and sprouting into something beautiful!

Hard to keep in the forefront, I know, but so great that you found these words again and are renewed by them!
